Taos...an ancient word meaning place of the red willows. Paying homage to the people of Taos Pueblo and surrounding tribes, the Red Willow Suite showcases a wonderful collection of Native-themed artwork and artifacts. With adobe walls two feet thick, vigas, latillas and much local charm, this early nineteenth century ground-floor suite occupies one of the oldest sections of the inn. Paco built the old-style corner fireplace in the sitting room from two-hundred year-old adobe mud bricks. The bedroom boasts an aspen-log queen-size bed, while the adjacent sitting room offers a hand-carved daybed with twin trundle bed for additional guests. A jacuzzi bath with shower, two flat-screen TVs, DVD players, fridge & microwave are also provided.
